Late-Breaking Clinical Trials

Submission Status

Late-breaking clinical trial submissions for ACC.26 are now closed. Accepted trial presenters will have the chance to present on cardiology's main stage, where they will help shape the future of cardiovascular care by sharing their research with the global cardiovascular community. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage in dynamic discussions on groundbreaking research during seven LBCT sessions, five featured clinical research sessions and two investigative horizons sessions. Be among the first to hear the data that will define tomorrow's practice.

Submission Categories

Late-Breaking Clinical Trial submissions were accepted in the following categories:

  • Major Study
  • Smaller Study/Randomized Clinical Trial
  • Multi-center Observational Study or Registry
  • Secondary Analysis of Major Clinical Trial
  • Other

Presentation Format

Accepted Late-Breaking Clinical Trial submissions will be presented in person during one of seven LBCT sessions in the Main Tent in New Orleans and streamed live on the ACC.26 virtual platform. No video or virtual presentation option will be available.

Publication and Media Opportunities

Three LBCT sessions will be co-sponsored by the Journal of the American College of Cardiology (JACC), the Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA) and the New England Journal of Medicine (NEJM). Each accepted submission will be considered for JACC Rapid Review and publication in JACC, JAMA and NEJM. In addition, each LBCT session will be followed by a press conference with top media outlets.
