Story First Content

Focus the User- Always write to the goal of the page or task of the initiative. In the first sentence or area of the page the user should easily tell the action they should take. And every piece of content should support, educate, or compel the user to act upon the task of the page.

Reduce - Reductive writing is best online users shy away from long blurbs of text.
Reuse - Don't repeat similar or same blocks of text or content. If there are reasons for content to be used in multiple areas - link to it, or pattern it as a resource that users an engage with if they need it.
Recycle- The title of the page you are linking to is usually not enough to be engaging.

  • Put the link within the text of the page,
  • rewrite the hook to get users to the page by lifting up concepts and reasons for the user to engage with the link to navigate to it.
  • Breaking a part the titles and content so it is easier to scan. For Example Name of the doctor, concept of content, and type of content distinguished by style allows users to faster then it all written out as single line.
