Description

We need the Analytics team to generate a snapshot Google Analytics usage report for all content within [Defined Project Scope] on ACC.org. The objective is to understand the current engagement and traffic patterns of the affected pages before content restructuring or updates. This report will help us make data-driven decisions about content prioritization and identify high-impact pages that need special attention.

    • All pages and assets within [Defined Project Scope] (including Features folder).
    • Any additional content types that might be relevant (videos, PDFs, downloads, etc.).

      • Pageviews
      • Unique Pageviews

      • Average Time on Page
      • Exit Rate
      • Sessions with these pages
    • Engagement Insights
      • Top-performing pages within the scope (highest pageviews & longest session duration).
      • Pages with high bounce rates (indicating low engagement).
      • Exit pages (where users leave ACC.org).
      • Traffic sources (organic, referral, direct, paid, social).
      • User demographics (geolocation, device type).

    • Visualization of how users move to and from the pages in scope.
    • Identification of critical traffic sources.

Acceptance Criteria

  • The Google Analytics Report is delivered and includes all requested metrics.
  • Key insights are highlighted (e.g., high vs. low-performing pages).
  • Referral and navigation data provide clarity on how users interact with these pages.
  • If data is missing due to tracking limitations, a note explaining the reason is included.

Dependencies

  • Access to Google Analytics and Google Search Console for ACC.org.
  • Confirmation of the [Defined Project Scope] before pulling reports.
  • Timeframe selection: If a standard period (e.g., last 12 months) is not appropriate, an alternative timeframe should be determined.

Notes

  • If any pages lack tracking (e.g., missing GA tags), flag them for resolution.
  • If applicable, consider segmenting reports by user type (e.g., members vs. non-members).
  • If deeper analysis is needed, a follow-up request can be submitted based on the initial findings.
